The following D.O.T. Regulations must be adhered to when bring your cylinder in to be filled.
- Secure the Cylinder upright and secure so it won’t move or roll around in the vehicle
- Do not transport more than four (4) – 20# propane cylinders in an enclosed vehicle
- Do not transport more than 90 lbs of total propane weight in an enclosed vehicle
- One (1) cylinder can only have up to 45 lbs of propane total when in an enclosed vehicle
- An open-air pickup truck MUST be used when filling 60 or 100# cylinders
- Do not smoke while transporting propane
- Never leave propane Cylinders inside a vehicle. Immediately take Cylinder home after it is filled.
- Cylinders Must be recertified after the 12 years from date of manufacture and every 5 years after that.
- Outdated, cylinders that have been exposed to fire, cylinders exposed to anhydrous ammonia, dented, damaged collar or foot rings, Cylinders that are a dark color, rusty or anything we deem unsafe will not be filled.
